Mixed Construction and Demolition (C&D) debris facilities will accept loads of mixed C&D and will sort it for recycling. Facilities either offer a manual sort or equipment that separates materials mechanically. These facilities will also accept clean loads of recyclable C&D, such as clean wood loads, concrete, asphalt, metals. Debris Box companies must be instructed to take mixed C&D to a Mixed C&D Facility so that it will be sorted and recycled. If you are required by ordinance to provide receipts for recycling, please notify your debris box service in advance and notify the gate staff at the facility when you drop off mixed C&D.
