Community Gifts

Peninsula Humane Society The Society builds healthy relationships between people and animals. The organization accepts all animals in need of care and often provides a second chance to especially needy animals.	San Mateo County Parks Foundation The Foundation raises needed funds to promote the restoration, management and enjoyment of the park system. It helps sponsor student visits at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, and, to promote parks upkeep, supports volunteer and Green Force Conservation Crew (high school youth) programs.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties Provides food to low-income local households through weekly and monthly assistance programs. The majority of recipients are either families with children or senior citizens.	Sustainable San Mateo County Sustainable San Mateo County is dedicated to educating the community about sustainability regarding the long-term health of the county's economy, environment and social equity.
